A different kind of server
Most servers hand you money, a car and a job menu. PixelPH hands you a name nobody recognises. Everything after that has to be earned through other people — which is exactly what makes it worth having.
Mechanics, drivers, clerks, cooks, couriers, nurses, landlords. The unglamorous roles are the ones that give everyone else something to react to — and they are where most long-running PixelPH stories actually start.
Officers are held to procedure: cause, warrants, interviews, paperwork, court. That restraint is the point. A city where the police have to build a case is a city where crime is worth committing carefully.
Medics arrive after the shooting stops, and what happens next decides whether a scene ends in a hospital bed or a funeral. Injuries, treatment and recovery are played out rather than skipped.
There is no menu of heists. There are people who might vouch for you, information worth keeping, and a slow climb from errands to things worth real risk. What you find out, you find out in character.
Player-run businesses are the connective tissue of the city: somewhere to meet, somewhere to launder, somewhere to get your car fixed at 3am. Running one well is its own long campaign.
